Gear up, racing fans – the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series is here! Around the world, the sights and sounds of American auto racing are firing up, ready to kick off big competition back on the horse racing tracks at ZED RUN.
To celebrate the return of NASCAR racing and its 2022 kickoff at the Daytona International Speedway with the running of the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 20th. To celebrate the return of NASCAR season, ZED RUN will be launching a freshly themed NASCAR track and a brand new way to take home prizes.
New NASCAR Horse Racing Track and Racing Challenges at ZED RUN
Beginning February 16th at 12 AM UTC, a new NASCAR Speedway horse racing track will be launched and open for all stable owners to compete in the lead-up to the Daytona 500. Boosting the frequency of racing events on the NASCAR Speedway will ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate, inviting greater competition with eligibility for prize pools and special NASCAR racing challenges.
From February 18th at 8 PM UTC to February 20th at 8 PM UTC, two separate NASCAR racing challenges will be launched in parallel:

NASCAR Track Passholder Challenge
Who is the fastest? The NASCAR Track Passholder Challenge is exclusive to NASCAR ZED Pass holders and calls for the Top fastest recorded times for each distance and breed, taking home a $100 prize. To be eligible, stable owners must race on the new NASCAR Speedway horse racing track.
A snapshot of all NASCAR ZED Pass holders will take place on February 16th at 12 AM UTC. Holders who possess a NASCAR ZED Pass in their MetaMask wallet prior to this snapshot will be eligible for the NASCAR ZED Pass portion of the NASCAR ZED Pass Racing Challenge prize pool.
To open NASCAR season we’re giving advanced notice of this snapshot, but in the future, there may not be notice given before added NASCAR ZED Pass events and utility are announced.
In total, this racing challenge will equate to 54 NASCAR ZED Pass holder winners taking home a grand total of $5,400 in prize pool winnings.
NASCAR Track Open Challenge
Are you fast enough? For the NASCAR Track Open Challenge, the Top 3 fastest recorded times for each distance and breed will take home a $100 prize. All ZED RUN racehorses are eligible for this challenge. To enter, stable owners must race on the new NASCAR Speedway racetrack.
In total, the NASCAR Open Racing Challenge will equate to 162 winners and $16,200 in prize pool winnings.
NASCAR ZED Pass Private Discord
The season kickoff at Daytona International brings with it just a taste of the utility and perks NASCAR ZED Pass holders can expect to be receiving in 2022. With all that in mind, we’ve created a private Discord channel exclusive to NASCAR ZED Pass holders.
This private Discord channel will better enable coordination of special promotions and upcoming events we have planned for NASCAR ZED Pass owners, while at the same time offering some exclusive in-channel content.
The team is excited to be kicking off the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series at ZED RUN and will continue working behind the scenes with NASCAR to deliver more interactions with NASCAR ZED Pass holders and plan unique experiences for the season ahead!
