Females to the Front
In the tradition of our community being the best there is, ZED Head Lacy After Dark recently launched Ladies of Valor Stable - a place where women can come to borrow racehorses, and learn to play ZED RUN.
“I think the seed for this idea was planted when the Women of ZED Discord started. There are not many women in this space, and after hearing from the women who are, I wanted to find a way to encourage more of them to play ZED RUN.”
Lacy decided to make lending to women a priority, and two months ago, Ladies of Valor Stable was born. The stable offers one to one support, and provides a safe, positive place for women to step out of their comfort zone into the Metaverse.
Off to Market
Starting with a little $ZED from a mutual endeavour with a friend, the stable currently has four permits and four racehorses in the Lending Marketplace. Lacy is trying to use some of her better racehorses to stock it.
“I don’t have paid race killers so I’m trying to use racehorses that have been profitable for me in free tournaments, and are still fun” says Lacy.
“I have my own personal stable which I enjoy, but would like Ladies of Valor to be self-sustaining by using my percentage of earnings to breed more competitive racehorses, and make it a closed loop system.”
Future focus
Excitingly, with the much talked about release of Direct Lending happening soon, Lacy believes Ladies of Valor Stable will be able to expand, and lend racehorses to existing female owned stables as well as new players.
“I think giving greater profits to borrowers and allowing a more flexible lending timeframe will fit perfectly into a lot of women’s busy lives.”
