The ZED RUN community is the best in Web3, with some of the most amazing tools and site creators in the metaverse! We’re on a mission to spotlight the best third-party sites for ZED RUN, to not only show their creators some well-earned appreciation, but to open up the repertoire of resources at every player’s disposal, so everyone is at their best on the track.
We’re thrilled to be kicking off the series with the talented OnChainRacing.eth, founder of ZedRacer.com. OnChainRacing got into ZED RUN when a friend introduced him to the game in September 2021, and he “immediately fell in love with the whole concept and the artwork.”
Soon enough, he had a stable full of racehorses, but discovered that keeping track of them, and watching their races in 3D wasn’t easy. Fast forward to November 2021, and ZedRacer.com was born!
Live Dashboard and Leaderboards
The first major feature launching the site was ZedRacer.com’s unique Live Racing Dashboard, enabling players to input their stable’s name to the dashboard, and gain visibility of all their registered races, queuing them up to play live in 3D, and never miss a race again!
It also showcases recently finished races for each stable, stats for the last seven days, and highlights your ZED RUN rival, so you know who to avoid (or seek out) on the track.
Another top notch feature on ZedRacer is the Leaderboards section. “We now have seven different categories of leaderboards, such as Racehorse/Stable monthly profit, Lending and Jockeying, and a 60-day rolling leaderboard of the fastest racehorses in each distance,” OnChainRacing explained, “and many stables now use it to size themselves up to the competition!”
If you’ve ever wanted to see how your racehorses and stable stack up, or are curious about the top stable and racehorse stats, the Leaderboards section is the perfect place to go.
Family Trees and Animated Horses
With Breeding 2.0 putting an emphasis on smart breeding, paying attention to a racehorse’s ancestry is more important than ever, and ZedRacer has a tool for that too. Their Zed Ancestry page allows you to input any racehorse name, and see a breakdown of their bloodline, plus their full family tree, so you can really get to their genetic roots!
You can also go to a racehorse profile for helpful information like the racehorse “history page,” which breaks down race placements by class, flames by class, and tournament performance statistics.
OnChainRacing’s personal favourite feature of ZedRacer.com is the Animated GIFs generator, which allows anyone to make an animated image of their racehorse with various themed backgrounds, from a cityscape to the matrix. These amazing images can be used to spice up sales or stud posts, or just to add some fun to a blog or Tweet. Either way, we want to see more of these!
ZedRacer Pro
While all of the amazing features discussed above (and many more) are free, ZedRacer also offers a Pro option with additional features, including stud alerts, race field analysis, advanced race filtering (with “hide a race” capability), a tournament tracker, and a stable manager tool which allows you to “group up and set distances/race types on racehorses for easier management,” according to OnChainRacing.
“All of these ZedRacer Pro features are in addition to viewing the live races like on the free dashboard, with the additional benefit of being able to put it fullscreen for better viewing. It makes the task of managing a stable a lot easier by breaking everything down and providing key stats and reports.” ZedRacer’s Creator, OnChainRacing.eth
Wrap Up
ZedRacer.com has a plethora of free tools and information to help any stable owner step up their game, from the casual racer to the more serious manager. It’s a great compliment to the ZED RUN experience, and stands as a testament to its founder’s appreciation and understanding of the game. If you haven’t used it before, there’s definitely something there for you!
Thanks to OnChainRacing.eth for the tour of the site, and we’ll see you next week with a new featured site. Next up: Zlead and Danshan!
