Alpha Phase Begins: Preparing for the ZEDx Evolution
Alpha testing is officially underway! This week, the first batch of 20 NDAs has been sent out, marking the start of an exclusive testing phase for ZEDx. Once participants sign their NDAs, they’ll receive a detailed email outlining the testing criteria, access to exclusive channels, and the assets needed to get started.
Channel Access
Alpha testers will be invited to two dedicated Discord channels: one for important announcements and another for sharing feedback throughout the testing period. A third channel will be available to keep everyone on the Alpha waitlist updated with progress so that even those awaiting entry can stay in the loop.
What’s Next?
Once this initial group completes testing, we’ll open the doors to 100 more Alpha testers for the next phase. If you’re on the waitlist, keep an eye on your inbox—your chance to shape ZEDx could be coming soon!
Leaderboard Highlights: Biggest Movers and Top Earners!
This week’s leaderboard reveals some major moves, with Filante Lodge leading the pack in both categories!
Impressive Jumps in Ranking
Filante Lodge made an astonishing climb, skyrocketing 19,309 positions from 19,705 to 396. Talk about a leap! They’re not alone in their upward movement:
- 🉐 Inception Racing 🉐 advanced 355 spots, breaking into the top thousand from 1062 to 707.
- TriStar Racing moved up 239 places, going from 728 to 489.
Points Earned Leaderboard
Filante Lodge is also making a mark in points earned, securing one of the top spots:
- ✨Solare Stables✨ took the lead, racking up 1902.09 points to raise their total to 29,289.52.
- Diamond Hands added 1869.55 points, increasing from 4501.14 to 6370.68.
- Filante Lodge added an impressive 1836.72 points, bringing their total from 20.37 to 1857.09.
Huge congratulations to Filante Lodge and all the stables making strides! It’s fantastic to see stables across the board pushing forward, collecting points, and racing toward new rewards. Keep the momentum going!
ZEDx Updates: What’s Happening Behind the Scenes
We know many of you have been wondering—what’s happening with the AMAs? Where are the updates? While we’re focused on launch deliverables, we’ve decided to pause AMAs for now until we have more substantial details and visuals to share. We want these sessions to provide real value rather than updates that feel light on new information.
In the meantime, the #zedx-discussions channel in Discord is open for any questions. Drop us a message there, and we’ll make sure to respond!
What’s Happening Internally?
Momentum is building as we approach the next internal playtest, followed by the first Alpha testing phase. Things are really coming together across multiple areas:
- UIX Design: Creating an intuitive, engaging experience for players.
- FTUE (First Time User Experience): Refining how new players are introduced to ZEDx.
- New Tracks & Augments: Enhancing the racing experience with fresh elements.
- Marketplace, Leaderboards and Auctions: Core mechanics are shaping up, paving the way for meaningful gameplay progression.
We’re still fine-tuning some visuals, which may be an area where we seek Alpha tester feedback. Additionally, we’ll be talking more about $ZED Token soon and its role in the game.
What’s Changing in Discord?
You’ll notice some updates to our Discord in the next few weeks as we streamline the server:
- Inactive channels are being retired.
- Locked channels for Alpha discussions are being activated.
These changes aim to make the platform easier to navigate and ensure the most valuable channels are front and centre for the community.
