The Maiden Stakes is back and better than ever! We’ve made changes based on your feedback. To qualify, you’ll need to run five races in a distance category, and scoring will be calculated based on the average of all qualifying races.
There will be daily updates on the prize pool, which currently stands at ~$22,000 USD. Get ready to saddle up and join the fun from March 6-9, 2023 at 12:00 AM UTC!

ZED RUN Origin Story: May 2021, while watching CNBC for news while day trading, a story ran talking about an NFT with function, ZED RUN. Since I was learning the crypto space slowly, with no experience with it except for the news, I decided this is the leading edge so it’s the place to be. I made every rookie mistake getting into the game.
Favourite Thing in ZED RUN: Since I am the ultimate contrarian, I can always find a path of success that is least travelled. If everyone is breeding for variance, I am breeding for stability. If everyone is running 6h, then I am doing 12h double ups.
My favourite was breeding a racehorse with 26 hours to go on a weekly tournament, raced the first 20 to qualify and the QF was race 21. Outside of a Maiden, that is extremely difficult to do.
New Player Advice: As a first step for new players in ZED RUN, I would recommend learning the UI and racing basics and borrowing a few racehorses. Then review successful racehorses in Hawku.com or Know Your Horses, and compare the cost of similar racehorses to make informed purchases. That's my hot tip for an essential racehorse management skill!

- Event Format (Winner-Take-All, Double Up, etc)
- Your Racehorses Only
- Entry Fee (Free or Paid)
- Distance
