One of the things that makes ZED RUN great is the amazing community we’ve built. We’re lucky enough to have some incredibly talented creators and builders, who have brought tools and tournaments alike to the community, adding an extra layer of fun and engagement to the game.
So, here’s to you, our fearless creators. Using the ZED RUN Community Grants program, we’re going to be supporting some community-created initiatives, whether it’s juicing tournament prize pools or providing a suite of promotional assets.
The first three submissions that have been selected for grants are all very worthy recipients, so congratulations to Zombie Racing, ZEDGE Racer, and TheAccountant (Warhorse Racing Club)!
These three are pillars of the ZED RUN community, whose submissions for ZED Grants ticked all the criteria we were looking for to help grow ZED RUN and engage our community.
Zombie Racing
The Zombie Racing team has been part of the ZED RUN community for as long as we can remember. They’re known for their creative tournament formats and additional events around ZED RUN’s own Maiden tournaments. You can find them on Twitter here.
We’ve loved the ambition and vision of their grant submission, building upon the success of their first season with a bold new Zombie Racing Season 2. A plethora of tournaments, plans to bring old users back to ZED RUN, and some live coverage of the events all fit well with our vision for the grant programme.
ZEDGE Racer
Prominent tool creator, ZED Racer is very popular amongst the ZED RUN community and it’s about to get a whole lot better too, as they recently announced a merge with another popular tool, ZEDGE.
Their submission focused on a series of four regular events, celebrating their recent merger with ZEDGE, and live streaming the action to expand the reach to as much of the ZED RUN community as possible.
TheAccountant (Warhorse Racing Club)
Another distinguished ZED RUN community member and host of regular, and popular, Twitter spaces, TheAccountant’s grant application stood out because of the live, interactive nature of their plan.
On May 10, Las Vegas will play host to ZED Headz, who are gathering to celebrate their shared passion for the game we all know and love. With a tournament playing out in front of their eyes, attendees are in for a fun-packed day!

It’s an exciting time to be a ZED Head as we look forward to XP NFTs and Sit'n'Go Tournaments, as well as these amazing community initiatives.
Based on the success of these events, we’ll look to continue using community grants to support a variety of community members in their endeavours to promote ZED RUN!
