“How well do you know your ZED Headz?” was a question posed by Diva's Diamond Stables at The Keg Room NYC for the ZED RUN Happy Hour event. Like many of the community, Diva was here to meet the people behind the stable names, and what better way to meet than IRL.
Making the trek from Pennsylvania to connect with fellow ZED Headz, the experience left her feeling revitalised about the community she’s become an integral part of.
“I definitely walked away from the event feeling even more bullish,” Diva Diamond says.
“Nothing comes close to the camaraderie in the ZED RUN community and the passion that the players have for the game.”
A stable owner since early last year, Diva has accumulated over 500 racehorses, with a keen eye on Genesis racehorses. But the most interesting fact about her stable may be in regards to the racehorses she no longer owns.
“I’ve sold over 300 unraced racehorses, but the funny part is, I name them all before I sell them,” Diva laughs. “I do not send a racehorse into the ZED RUN world without a name it can be proud of.”
“You would be astonished to find out how many racehorses I’ve put into the ecosystem named after the Hamilton musical and drag queens.”
Even amongst a crowd full of ZED Headz with similarly stacked stables, she says the Happy Hour event was more about having a good time and showing appreciation to her fellow players.
“I was happy to Arbitrage Racing and give him some well deserved kudos,” Diva says. “I probably should have asked him more about his strategy and set-up some breeding plans, but alas – tequila!”
“I also enjoyed meeting Zed Chateaux. I find his mannerism in his ZED streams very soothing. I call him the ‘Horse Whisperer’.
The consensus amongst ZED Headz was that the IRL bonding was great and the next one should be sooner rather than later.
