NFT NYC: Marriott Marquis at Times Square
ZED RUN was centre stage at NFT NYC in the heart of Times Square where over 16,000 registered attendees gathered to celebrate NFTs and Web3 culture.
Celebrating its fourth year, the conference brought together fans, influencers, and developers of NFTs. This year's event featured 10 stages spread across seven venues and attracted more than 15,000 artists and enthusiasts, and 1,500 speakers.
Below are a few ZED RUN highlights:
- Many attendees searched for the rewarding NFT experiences of Play and Earn blockchain gaming. Attendees interested in learning more about ZED RUN were guided to sign up and test out the game with a trial racehorse.
- Torus social logins stood out as a massive mainstream breakthrough. Many attendees were much more interested in exploring what ZED RUN using a familiar interface to log in with.
- ZED RUN took home the NFT NYC OpenSea award for both Top Gaming Collection by Transactions and Top Collection by Transactions.
Community Happy Hour
ZED Headz put the happy in Happy Hour when the community and ZED RUN team gathered at The Keg Room NYC. Mingling with some of our most dedicated and in-tune community members was the perfect way to close out Day 1.
Entertainment included custom racing with exclusive in-person prize pools, testing ZED RUN AR/VR prototypes courtesy of our guests Enklu, and a sneak peek of what the future of ZED RUN may look like.
Community members such as ZED Chateaux, Pony Zook, Legendary Stables and High Meadows Stables sat down for interviews. Those chats will be released in the coming weeks as part of our NFT NYC Meet the ZED Headz series.
The entire ZED RUN team thanks those that came out to the Happy Hour event, and we definitely don’t plan to go very long before we do it again.
ZED RUN x Human Park x Perion Party
To cap off NFT NYC week, Virtually Human Studio came together to celebrate Web3 and NFT culture alongside Perion at the Flower Shop.
There was a buzz in the air as our special guest – Aussie-born (just like ZED RUN!) Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons – arrived to participate in a custom race splashed across a massive projector screen.
Incredibly, Simmons’ racehorse – Ben Simmons NFT NYC – took first place in the main event! Plans are underway to transfer Simmons his racehorse and get him on the digital race tracks.
ZED RUN CTO Jason Melo Speaks at NFT NYC
NFT NYC welcomed Jason Melo as a guest speaker at the Palladium Theatre where he presented a video that showcased ZED RUN and Human Park.
We may be biased, but amidst a schedule full of sit down chats and panels, it certainly seemed as if the highlight hype reel provided a jolt for all in attendance and left quite the lasting impression.
