ZED Chateaux, a self-described average stay-at-home Dad from California, says he got hooked on Web3 and ZED RUN back in January 2021. Since then, he’s been enjoying laps around the racetracks, but he’s just as dedicated to ensuring others get to safely and securing experience the fun.
“Web3 can be hard,” ZED Chateaux says. “The concept is completely foreign to most people, and many are resistant to the change.”
“I think one of the most important factors contributing to the success of Web3 gaming is going to be holding people’s hands as they bridge the gap into this new world.”
Now a veteran, his recent ZED RUN Stable Starter Series on YouTube specifically addresses onboarding new players.
“The concept of MetaMask and non-custodial wallets is completely foreign to most people,” Chateaux says. “The best advice I can give is to be patient and understand exactly what you are buying.”
“If you have a strict $100 budget, spend a ton of time doing research and understanding the game before you buy your first horse. There are plenty of great entry opportunities under $100 if you know what you’re looking for.”
For those still unsure about Metamask, Torus social logins recently made its debut at ZED RUN . “I think Torus will be massive for the adoption of new stable owners into ZED RUN,” Chateaux says. “I can remember when cross platform log-ins rolled out in Web2 and just how much easier it became.”
Chateaux points to the Hawku ZED Buying Guide, KnowYourHorses, and an assortment of the most well known streamers in Pony Plug, Lacy After Dark, Blockchain Jockeys, MJ Gaming, and Avon Fields as a solid place to start.
“The community is what makes ZED RUN great,” Chateaux says. “Owning and racing digital horses is amazing, but the real fun comes when you see your friend in the next gate over in a race.”
