Fired up for a HUGE 2023 - the @zed_run and @knightsofdegen's collaboration show ZED KNIGHTS is back!
Now with its own time slot every Thursday at 8 pm ET. Hosts @PonyZook @DoughBoy__215 and @kkirk55 will take you through ZED RUN highlights of the week, run Stable Duelz, tournaments & more.
In anticipation of the big year ahead, ZED RUN sat down with @JiggaPorto, Director of Content and Host for KOD Media to talk about his KOD journey, and what ZED HEADz can look forward to from ZED Knights in 2023.
Tell us a bit about yourself and how you came to Knights of Degen
"Father of four and married to my really smoking hot wife “Jessica”. I started doing content on my own and honestly was trying to get into sports broadcasting by getting the attention of the Fan Controlled Sports Entertainment league. I got the attention of both and had a lot of fun covering the league but that didn't turn into a job." say @JiggaMan
"That's when things took a crazy turn. Knights of Degen joined the league with their own team and I had Drew Austin on the show as a guest. In true Drew fashion, it turned into Drew interviewing me without me realising, and KOD brought me into the Kingdom to help build KOD Media from scratch."
"A year later, BOOM…here I am the Director of Content and show host for KOD Media fully backed by the Knights of Degen. The future plans for the network has me super excited. With new shows, upgraded shows, and amazing shows lead by our community members."
How did the KOD ZED RUN collaboration come about?
"KOD has been a huge believer in ZED RUN from the start. The Kingdom has several racehorses that we let members of the community run - our own Kingdom Jockeys. We started ToKnight We Ride as a show based around our stable, giving weekly updates and a place for contests. This was the first taste of Jigga, Zook, and Doughboy working together."
"The show continued to grow and we ended up adding all kinds of Web3 games KOD has assets for into the show. Other projects started reaching out, and things just kept getting bigger. Then the opportunity presented itself for KOD Media to bring a bigger show solely focused around ZED RUN, and that when ZED Knights was created."
What’s new for ZED Knights in 2023?
"We really took the last 2-3 months as our pilot for the show/concept. We wanted to see how the community received it and would support it. We are excited to say that ZED Knights had a good turnout, and is officially being moved to a standalone slot on Thursdays 8pm ET."
"We want the show not only to highlight the weekly blog and updates in ZED RUN, but also to be a night of fun, with interviews, weekly custom tournaments, Stable Duelz, special guests, and of course the really exciting part ZED RUN PRIZES!"

Finally, will there be duck racing?
"You can not have a KOD Media stream without duck races. We will always stay true to the DUCKS! Quack! I mean Yes. 1,000% Yes!!"
