ZED Legends League: Week One

‍

On Thursday night, 108 of the most elite racehorses in ZED RUN hit the track to face off in week one of ZED Legends League!

‍

Each funnel is segmented into 5-6 ‘heats’, then racehorses within the same heat will compete in 3 races at different distances. You can find more information on the tournament format and rules here.

ZEDGE Season One

Who’s ready for ZEDGE Seasons? Season one is just around the corner with bonus prizes available such as a 3D-printed model of your racehorse and $5000 from the ZED RUN Grants program! 

‍

Sixteen events including 12 sit-n-go tournaments will take place over four weeks in the first season leading up to an exhilarating Grand Final!

‍

In an effort to give more racehorses a place on the track, some additional conditions have been utilised such as varying level bands and 100-500 lifetime race caps depending on the event.

‍

ZED RUN Origin Story

I heard about ZED RUN through the Hamish and Andy radio show in Australia back in July 2021. I love horse racing, so I bought a horse and started racing. 

‍

In June 2022, I got hacked (via another project) and lost all my horses except for one. Luckily I could swap this horse and get the horse I named after my son who passed away. The ZED RUN community were awesome, kindly donating some good horses and I built my stable back up. 

‍

In January 2023, I created the Zedrun Resurrection Twitch stream to give the lower-level horses a place to run where they can win some eth, resurrecting them within the ecosystem, so to speak. I used to love watching the Aussie ZED RUN streamers with chat racing and wanted that back. We have a core 8-12 stables who usually race twice a week. We don't race for sheep stations, normally 0.002 entry. I try and keep the tournaments fresh with Bingo, Hawku challenges, ZED Champions League style and recently survivor racing as part of the rotation.

I would love for more people to jump on Twitch streams and see how much better ZED RUN is while interacting with other stables live.

‍

Favourite part of ZED RUN? 

I love on-stream racing. Interacting and sharing banter with people on stream after a race or tournament is the best part of ZED RUN for me.

‍

What advice would you give to someone who wants to join ZED RUN? 

Go on Twitter and let people know you are a new stable. There are great people who will actively assist you to learn the game.

‍
