Attention all ZED Headz - claiming your ZED Tokens begins today!

What You Need to Know
- Beginning Thursday, July 28, 2022 users who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to claim their ZED Tokens directly from zedtoken.com.
- Gas fees will be covered by the ZED Token issuer for those eligible users claiming ZED Tokens.
- The claiming period will be strictly open for ninety (90) days from the airdrop.
- Any unclaimed ZED Tokens after the 90 day claiming window will be transferred back to the Play-and-Earn Rewards Treasury.
- The ZED Token will first be available to claim by all ZED RUN users who meet the eligibility criteria here.
How Claiming Will Work
NOTE: Users with Torus wallets are not eligible for the airdrop as this mode of sign-up was implemented after the snapshot date. MetaMask and Magic Link users will be supported.
Your Upgraded Wallet
Once logged in to ZED RUN, you will notice the new, upgraded wallet which now displays your ZED Token and WETH balances separately.
Initially, you will be able to send and receive ZED Tokens directly from here. ZED Tokens can be accessed through the ZED RUN website by connecting your MetaMask, Magic or Torus (Facebook, Google, Twitter, Discord and Twitch) accounts.

WEN Utility?
The purpose of the ZED Token is to enable additional utility within the ZED RUN ecosystem. The ZED Token will, over time, become the main token and in-game currency of ZED RUN and the primary way to interact i.e. race, breed, and lend.
To maximise the ZED RUN platform, you will need the ZED Token to enjoy all modes of gameplay as they release incrementally. It is intended to be leveraged across Play-and-Earn utility-based video games.
