Borrow a Racehorse for Free!
Finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for; the Borrowing market is open for business!
Last week, in a major first for ZED Token utility, we opened the market for phase one of Lending, and saw thousands of racehorses enter the Lending Marketplace within a few days.
Now, anyone can head to https://zed.run/marketplace/borrow to choose from a selection of those racehorses to temporarily call their own for four days of excitement and fun via free and paid racing.
Borrowing a racehorse is a great way for a new player to dip their toes in the water, or for an O.G. player to come back and experience what’s new. Limit is one borrowed racehorse at a time per stable.
This initial phase has been designed with no filters or search in the marketplace to provide opportunities for new players to play with minimal stakes as they learn the game. September Shootout by Zombie Racing
The Zombie Racing tournaments are back for a fun and engaging September series, the September Shootout!
Featuring four tournaments for each week of the month with unique scoring styles, the series aims to maximise fun and give any racehorse or stable a chance to take home some prize money. More info on the events and deadlines can be found here.
All races will be custom tournaments hosted on zed.run, so no need to worry about gaining class points! There are 144 tokens available for purchase on OpenSea.

NASCAR Challenge #4
If you smell burning rubber, it’s because NASCAR Challenge #4 has begun! NASCAR Pass holders are taking off to secure their share of the $18,900 pot. The initial round will close on 11:59 pm UTC, September 4.
108 finalists (12 fastest times per distance) will then hit the track to compete for a $1500 prize pool at each distance.

Discord Donkey Derby
The Discord Donkey Derby is underway! A staggering 624 entrants face off for the next three weeks in an effort to prove themselves to be the biggest disappointments on the track.
On Wednesday, August 30, the first 52 races took place and 156 horses trotted away with points for finishing 6-8.
