This Friday December 2 from 8pm EST the Lucky Maiden 9 Grand Finals are kicking off with 100 ZED RUN custom races, over 8 ETH in prizes around 300 racehorses competing.

Core Gameplay Improvements are coming!
‍

‍

This is it - the wait is over, here’s what you need to know:

‍

• Starting at 12:00 AM UTC on December 6, 2022, the ZED RUN platform will be down for the anticipated Core Gameplay Improvements release
• The scheduled downtime is estimated to take between 4-6 hours
• After this new update is released, racing will resume with a reduced number of races and will increase gradually throughout the dayWhy
• All racehorses and race services will be migrated onto the new system where Evo, Levels and the new Class system will operateImpact
• Tournaments scheduled December 5-7, 2022 will be cancelled and will resume the following day

Breeding Updates
‍

‍

If you’ve noticed a change in any of your racehorse’s breed types this week, it’s because we’ve rolled out some updates to breeding in preparation for the new class system! There were two main changes made to breeding: first, breeding is now directly linked to the Level of the racehorse, taking into account the weighting of breed type and internal attributes in the calculation of its Level; Second, foals’ starting Levels will be determined by the starting Levels of their parents and their breed types, which determines their max levels.

To match the new system requirements, over 7500 existing racehorses had their breed types upgraded, giving these horses a higher potential level ceiling. So if any of your pacers, crosses, or elites got an upgrade, it’s time to get excited about how they’ll perform on the track when the racing improvements go live soon! Coinbase Wallet Integration

ZED RUN has implemented Coinbase Wallet compatibility this week, allowing for a smooth sign-up experience for new stables that use Coinbase. Between compatibility for Metamask, Torus, and Coinbase wallet new users can pick their preferred flavour and get on the track in a matter of minutes!
