Daily Tournament Recap
Last week, three Keep on Winning tournaments were held with a prize pool of $15,000 each. Week-long tournaments have returned in glorious fashion, starting with a Fibonacci Cup with a prize pool of $100,000 this week.
In order to qualify for the week-long Fibonacci Cup, horses needed to run 20 times in 12-horse paid races between January 9 and January 13. With up to 7,000 qualifying positions segmented by class, it’s a good week to be on the track!

Newly ZEDs: Game Basics - Become a Stable Owner
Before you own a racehorse, you’ll need a stable for them to reside in. The first step in creating a ZED RUN stable is to set up your MetaMask, Torus or Coinbase wallet.
Here is a simple guide on how to create a Metamask wallet:
- Go to the Metamask website (https://metamask.io/download/) and click on the "Install Metamask for (Browser of Choice)" button to install the Metamask extension.
- Click on the Metamask icon in your browser's toolbar to open the extension.
- Click on the "Create a Wallet" button.
- Set a strong password for your wallet.
- Save your seed phrase. This is a 12-word phrase that you can use to recover your wallet if you ever lose access to it. Write it down and store it in a safe place.
- Confirm your seed phrase by typing it in the field provided.
- That's it! You have now created your own Metamask wallet. You can now proceed to https://www.zed.run and create your stable.
Once your Metamask wallet has been created, you’ll visit https://www.zed.run and click Sign Up.
Click Use Digital Wallet and your Metamask extension will pop-up to sign in. Upon completion you’ll just need to confirm that you’ve read the Terms of Service.
Under https://zed.run/settings you’re able select your stable name, verify your email address, and enter your Discord handle so other stables can reach you.

ZED RUN Origin Story
I was looking for something to invest the $10-20 I had at the time, and someone told me to look at OpensSea. I knew I didn’t really have much, but I went to window shop I suppose, and that's when I saw ZED RUN and remembered that I had read an article about it. I joined the Discord and the community was very welcoming and kind - in fact I got a racehorse for FREE! Bye Bye Butey!
I used that racehorse to learn the game, then other community members started offering me their racehorses, and honestly, it was a lot of grind at first since I had little no clue what I was doing. I was racing free races for the most part trying to qualify for the free tournaments - one day I hit the jackpot of all jackpots and made a whole $70!!! I was like WOAAAAAAAAH and was so happy!
It was just the incentive I needed to keep going, and growing my stable over time. I used to tell everyone I will get a Z1 one day, even if I had to fight a kangaroo to get it (which tbh I feel like ZED RUN is scared to set that up because if I win I get a Z1 Nakamoto, and if I lose I get a Z2 Nak Gen... those are my terms ZED RUN, sign the contract).
Eventually a kind community member helped me buy my Z1, which surprised me but the community really is that kind. I still consider myself a noob and I just enjoy the community and ZED RUN team - they are great people.
Favourite part of ZED RUN?
That’s a hard one...I really love interacting with the community - but I also love winning and winning money more than winning lol. Although the game may not be PERFECT right now - the team is always working on trying to balance it to allow more people to compete and earn, which I fully support because I feel like everyone should have the opportunity.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to join ZED RUN?
My advice for anyone who wants to start out in ZED RUN would be to join the Discord, make friends and ask for help. There are some really nice people in the community, many will even loan out their good racehorses to help you get established. You can easily learn how to analyse and strategise in this way, and one day buy your own racehorse.
An even better story would be you buying your own racehorse WITH the earnings you got from borrowing a racehorse... ALSO, DID I MENTION IT'S FREE TO BORROW A RACEHORSE? I'd say it's a great time to hop in.
