ZEDx - Augments: Your Horse's Secret Weapon
Augments are items that can give your horse a strategic edge between races. Designed to complement your horse's natural traits, they offer specific boosts without replacing your horse's core performance. The three types of Augments are:
- Passive: Simple, straightforward boosts.
- Situational: Activate only under certain race conditions.
- Progressive: Activate across multiple races based on performance.
Picture this: your horse is struggling to hold the lead, but with a Situational augment, it gets a speed boost right when it needs it. Or, with a Progressive augment, placing in the top three for five straight races could unlock its full potential, giving you something long-term to aim for.
Augments add an extra layer of depth to gameplay, whether you’re a strategist fine-tuning every detail or just looking for an easy boost. There’s something for every type of player.

Discover Your Next Champion In This Week's $40k Maiden!
Mini-Season 6 is kicking off this Monday, and with it comes another chance to enter the bi-weekly Maiden Stakes. It’s the perfect time to hit the Stud, breed some horses, and race for your share of the $40k prize pool.
The Maiden Stakes offers <21 horses an opportunity to prove themselves across different classes (1-6) and distances, with winners in marathoner, midrunner, and sprinter categories.

- 1000m, 1600m, 2200m finals distances
- Top 3 payouts

Season 6: Shorter Events, Bigger Prizes, and New XP Multipliers
Here's what's new and coming your way in Mini Season 6:
Shorter events, bigger prizes
We've heard your feedback about preferring the quick fire two day events, but not at the expense of prize pools. As a result we've tried to find the right balance there, with 2 <100 & 1 <250 tournaments, two days each, with $4,000 prize pools.
C4-C6 Tournaments
We want to continue pushing horses into higher classes to compete for prize pools, but we're aware there's still appetite for paid racing in classes 4-6. As a result we'll be running some paid tournaments in those classes with 1000x XP multipliers rather than monetary prize pools. For those still wanting to use the free route to climb the classes, the Free Weekly Premier offers a 250x multiplier for classes 3-6.
C3 Tournament XP Multipliers
Another topic of conversation was the XP multiplier in class 3 tournaments. The paid <100 and <250 tournaments in class 3 will now offer a 250x multiplier (previously it was 50x), to help those horses who have just arrived from the lower classes.
